Return & Cancellation Policy

Non-Returnable Items

  • Firearms and ammunition (all sales final)
  • Gift cards and eGift cards
  • Suppressors (cannot be canceled or refunded)

RETURNS (OPTICS & ACCESSORIES)

Optics and accessories may be returned within 30 days if:

  • Items are in resalable condition and in original packaging
  • The original receipt is provided or order confirmation is provided

A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Heartland Munitions Co. has final discretion on all returns.

CANCELLATIONS & UNCLAIMED ORDERS

  • Orders canceled, or not picked up within 30 days of being ready, incur a 25% restocking fee.
  • Items found to be damaged are exempt from the restocking fee if the damage is verified with us before the item leaves our possession.
  • Items are in resalable condition and in original packaging
  • The original receipt is provided or order confirmation is provided

EXCHANGES

All exchanges are processed as a return (subject to the policy above) followed by a new order. Refunds are issued to the original payment method before the new order is placed.

 

Firearm Sales Requirements

Legal Compliance

All firearms, magazines, receivers, and restricted items are sold in compliance with federal, state, and local laws. You are responsible for knowing and complying with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

Age Requirements

  • 18 years or older: Rifles, shotguns, and long gun ammunition
  • 21 years or older: Handguns, ATF-defined “Other” firearms, and handgun ammunition

Buyer Certification

By purchasing a firearm, you certify that you:

  • Are not prohibited by law from receiving firearms or ammunition
  • Are the actual buyer (not purchasing on behalf of another person)
  • Are not under indictment for any felony or crime punishable by more than one year imprisonment
  • Have not been convicted of a felony or crime punishable by more than one year imprisonment
  • Are not a fugitive from justice
  • Are not an unlawful user of or addicted to controlled substances
  • Have not been adjudicated mentally defective or committed to a mental institution
  • Were not dishonorably discharged from the armed forces
  • Are not subject to a restraining order for harassment, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child
  • Have not been convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence
  • Are a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
  • Have not renounced U.S. citizenship
  • Are lawfully present in the United States

Safety Commitment

By purchasing a firearm, you agree to follow these safety rules:

  • Always keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction
  • Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot
  • Keep the firearm unloaded until ready to use
  • Know your target and what is beyond it

Permanent Resident Purchases

Firearm transfers to lawful permanent residents require additional compliance review, which may take up to 7 business days from receipt of the final background check response. This process cannot be expedited.

AMMUNITIONS SALES

  • 18 years or older: Rifle and shotgun ammunition
  • 21 years or older: Handgun ammunition

Always use the correct ammunition for your firearm. Check local laws for additional restrictions.

local pickup

All purchases are completed online or by direct arrangement with Heartland Munitions Co., with pickup by appointment only. You will receive confirmation when your order is ready for pickup.

Firearms must ship to, or be transferred through, a licensed FFL (and, where applicable, SOT) dealer. Other items may ship directly to you where permitted by law.

Account & order termination

Heartland Munitions Co. reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order, and to decline future business with any customer, for violation of these policies or terms, fraudulent activity, or other conduct that puts our business or compliance obligations at risk.

Website & Pricing diclaimers

  • All items, prices, and availability are subject to change without notice.
  • Sale offers are valid while supplies last and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.
  • Promo codes cannot be stacked.
  • Local taxes may apply.
  • Limited quantities available; inventory varies.

We do not guarantee error-free pricing or descriptions. We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or cancel orders with pricing or description errors.
  • Contact you before processing an order that contains an error.
  • Request return of mistakenly shipped item for full a refund.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heartland Munitions Co. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damage arising from the purchase, use, or misuse of any product sold. All products are sold “as is,” and Heartland Munitions Co. disclaims any warranties beyond those provided directly by the product’s manufacturer. Buyer assumes full responsibility for the safe and lawful use, storage, and handling of any firearm, ammunitions, or related product purchase.

governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms of your purchase shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Missouri.
